The reality show ‘In flying, I leave’ Since 2015, he has traveled the most unknown and rugged areas of Spanish geography. Led by mountaineer and presenter Jesús Calleja, the public can participate in the adventures and stories that he experiences and shows from the helicopter of the Cuatro program.

In addition to discovering less known and more remote territories but full of charm, one of the strong points of ‘Volando voy’ is the connection that is created with the residents of the main municipalities. Furthermore, the importance of taking care of nature and conserving the riches of our forests, mountains, seas, rivers, etc. is valued.

After 7 seasons where adventure and emotion combine, this Wednesday October 9, Calleja brings, as usual, an impressive setting and several moving stories. ‘Flying I go’ arrives in the land of shepherds and peddlers in Navarre: the Sierra de Urbasa and Andía.

‘Flying I’ arrives in the Sierra de Urbasa and Andía

This Wednesday, at 10:50 p.m., viewers of the Cuatro program will be able to travel with “Jesús Calleja” to the Sierra de Urbasa region, in Andía. More precisely, they visit the town of Eulatewhere the best pelota player in the world was born, whose pediment is the protagonist of tonight’s program.

Eulate is a municipality of less than 300 inhabitants belonging to the Améscoa Valley, located in the Merindad de Estella, at the foot of the Urbasa-Andía Natural Park and 70 kilometers from Pamplona. In its urban area, several houses from the 16th century are still preserved and its hermitage of San Juan, from the 13th century, stands out. Another of the treasures of the city that they capture from “Volando voy” is its gastronomy, in which the artisanal sheep cheese with the designation of origin Idiazábal attracts all the attention.

Returning to the Urbasa-Andía Natural Park, its territories were declared a Natural Park by the approval of the Foral Law 3/1997 of February 27, 1997. The Foral Decree 228/2007 of October 8 designates it as Place of Community Significance called “Urbasa and Andía” as a special area of conservation.

As usually happens with every program, Calleja shared on his social networks a preview of one of the best moments of this episode of “Volando Voy”. In it, he shares a funny conversation with two locals who maintain a friendship. “Have you ever seen the sun?”the adventurer asks one of them between laughs.

“You’re going to meet some good characters in tomorrow’s episode of ‘Volando Voy,’ friends! This time we went to Navarre to pay tribute to one of its most recognized athletes,” the Leonese wrote on his social networks.
