Former Transport Minister José Luis Ábalos asked the PSOE to reincorporate into the party, considering that its suspension of activism by the Koldo affair was based on “arbitrariness”.
The deputy, who currently belongs to the Mixed Group To Congress he submitted his written statement of allegations, to which laSexta had access, in which he asks to be a member of the PSOE again.
In the letter, Ábalos assures that he does not agree with the party’s decision and rejects the idea that he tried to “damage the image of socialist institutions”, as pointed out by the PSOE. Thus, it considers that, in any event, said depreciation constitutes an “absolutely subjective assessment” and of which there is no “no objective evidence.”
He also insists that “this deputy cannot be accused of having obstructed the work and decisions of the party organs”. He also emphasizes that “he was not aware of the content of the said decision”.
