According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, since the beginning of 2024, the wealth of the richest Russians has increased by $26.274 billion. NLMK beneficiary Vladimir Lisin became the richest and ranked second among the country’s richest residents, RIA Novosti reports today, November 1.
Lisin’s fortune increased by $4.81 billion to a total of $28.8 billion.
Analysts calculated this index based on the value of shares of companies in which billionaires own shares. In total, the ranking includes the 500 richest people in the world, of which 25 are Russian citizens with a total wealth of 355.33 billion dollars.
Over the past month, the top 3 richest Russians have not changed. One of the main owners of Norilsk Nickel remained in first place in the ranking. Vladimir Potanin with a fortune of 32.2 billion dollars (+1.18 billion dollars). In second place is the already mentioned Lisin. In third place is the co-owner of Lukoil. Vagit Alekperov of $27.4 billion (+$2.78 billion).
