Pamplona preparing to receive a new Lidl brand supermarketwhich will be the eighth in the chain in Navarre after the five that already exist in the Pamplona region and those that the brand has in Tafalla, Estella and Tudela.
This new opening of a new supermarket is part of the growth and expansion of Lidl, a distribution chain which started in Germany and takes more 25 years old operating in Spain. During this period, it has managed to establish itself as one of the main supermarkets in the country, with a network of more than 670 stores and 12 logistics centers that supply millions of consumers.
The opening of this new site is planned for October 25 inside Landaben polygonon Landaben Street, A, near Barañain.
The new Lidl supermarket in Pamplona will have a sales area of 1,540 m² And 110 parking spaces. Its opening hours for customers will be 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.from Monday to Saturday, thus providing sufficient timetables to serve the residents of Pamplona and neighboring towns.
This is a neighborhood of Pamplona, in the industrial zone of Landaben, where there are already an Aldi brand supermarket and a McDonald’s restaurant chain.
With this new store, Lidl is moving forward in its national expansion planwhich this year includes an investment of 220 million euros intended for the opening of 40 new points of sale and the expansion of its network of logistics platforms. These investments have enabled Lidl to contribute significantly to the jobgenerating more than 172,000 jobs direct and indirect.
