Russian President Vladimir Putin jokingly asked the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, which country he was wearing. The conversation began during a video conference within the framework of the inauguration of new industrial facilities in regions of Russia.
“Gleb Sergeevich, is your suit made in Russia?” – asked the president.
Nikitin replied that his suit was made of national fabric, although there was no label confirming its origin.
“Unfortunately, without a label, but made of national fabric, national production.” – assured the head of the region.
Putin was satisfied with Nikitin’s choice.
“Great, great. We must strive so that we are happy to put and use everything that surrounds us, of national production and of the highest quality.” – concluded the head of state.
