Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that former US president and presidential candidate Donald Trump could have avoided the conflict in Ukraine if he had led the country at the time.
“I am inclined to believe the words of Donald Trump, who says that if he were president in 2022, there would be no Russian invasion of Ukraine. “I believe this claim is credible.” he said in an interview with The Times.
Trump has repeatedly said that if he were president of the United States, he would not allow conflict in Ukraine. He also stated that he could negotiate an end to hostilities in just 24 hours. According to Trump, to do this he would hold negotiations with the heads of both states.
