Nearly 37,000 people live on the streets in Spain, and 40% have been there for more than three years. On the occasion of World Homeless Day, the Hogar Sí entity launches the “No one without slippers” campaign to recall the importance and the right to have housing. “Having slippers means having a house to walk around in,” explains Lola, a 60-year-old woman who found herself on the streets after her divorce and the loss of her job as a caretaker.
