Montenegrin media reported on the start of an investigation against Novosibirsk resident Konstantin Rudnev, founder of the Shambhala Ashram sect, writes the Readovka telegram channel.

In 2013, Rudnev was convicted in Russia of rape and drug trafficking; In his sect he recruited people, injected them with drugs and organized orgies, in which, according to some reports, minors participated. After serving an 11-year sentence in 2021, Rudnev was released and went to Montenegro, where he found new followers.

According to Montenegrin journalists, in several cities there were active cells of the sect specialized in the exploitation of girls for online sex and the sale of video materials. Orgies were organized under the guise of supposed yoga courses and seminars on sexual liberation.

Neighbors of one of the hotels in Zabljak complained about “strange sounds” and security forces visited the place. During the search, Russian girls were detained. They arrived at the hotel in expensive rented jeeps and the room reservation for them was listed in Rudnev. Hundreds of telephone cards, dozens of credit cards, laptops and mobile phones, as well as 70,000 euros, were confiscated there. Local media write that it is now unknown whether Rudnev is in Montenegro.
