Hurricane Kirk caused several incidents in the town of Zamora yesterday. In total, the Municipal Police and Fire Department responded to 172 calls.
One of the most important was the fall of a tree in the Plaza de Los Ciento, in the center of the capital, which was felled by the strong gusts of wind recorded and which fell on two people.
They, according to the councilor for citizen security at Zamora town hall, David Gago, “did not want to receive medical assistance.”
“There have been numerous collaborations between police and firefighters to check roofs, buildings and dozens of reports to the Parks and Gardens Department and garbage collection to restore normalcy as quickly as possible,” said Gago.
