The French club Lyon will be able to take part in the European League (Europa League) if he won his appeal against the decision to fall to the second degree of France.
On Tuesday, the French football organ decided to throw the club to the second degree in France.
During the hearing held on the last Tuesday, the club could not convince the French financial supervisory administration restrictions imposed in November, including the precaution of the administrative reduction in the second division of France.
Lyon, who took sixth place in the French League last season and qualified in the European League, immediately said that he would resume.
The club confirmed that the European Union (WIVA) was ready to accept it in continental competition and said on his official website: “Olympic Lyon completed the financial stability procedures and signed an agreement with the financial supervision management in the clubs of the European Football Association.”
He continued: “Therefore, the club can participate in the European League next season, provided that he resumed the decision of the financial supervision management.
Lyon has seven days to appeal from the date of the official notification of him about the decision of the Committee on Sports Competitions. The club said on Friday that this notification had not yet received.
