Students from four villages in Ismayilli have not attended classes for 10 days.
Thus, last year, students were taken in vehicles to the school in the neighboring town, but this year the transportation was stopped. For this reason, 52 students from four villages in Ismayilli district have not been attending classes for days.
Parents appealed to “Khazar Khabar” about this problem that arose in the villages of Yeniyol, Tirjan-Ferma, Zargaran and Pirabilgasim.
According to them, since October 1, the activities of vehicles intended for transporting students have been suspended without giving reasons.
The Shirvan Regional Education Department of Nagorno-Karabakh reported that in several general education institutions under the institution, optimization, that is, the consolidation of schools, is being carried out to improve the quality of education and provide greater opportunities for students:
“Due to the small number of students in four villages of Ismayilli district, the students were shifted to Tazakend village secondary school of the district. Transportation was provided to 52 schoolchildren in the allocated transport facilities in the last academic year. This process continued until October 1 of the new academic year and the contract with the transport company was terminated. Currently, the student transport “is in negotiations with other companies. “The process will resume in the near future.”
