US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris said it is necessary to reach an agreement on a ceasefire in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
“We must achieve a ceasefire, both in Lebanon and, of course, in Gaza,” – he told reporters.
“We are working on this around the clock, but we need these wars to end and we definitely need to come to a de-escalation of what is happening in the region, and we are working on that.” – pointed out the vice president.
Harris made her comments as Israel prepares a response to Iran’s Oct. 1 missile attacks.
