The Czech initiative to supply Ukraine with 500 thousand ammunition will be implemented. This was announced by Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala on October 10.
“The initiative has been a great success and deliveries have been made regularly. “We will achieve our goal of 500 thousand units, although in reality there will be many more due to other activities,” – said.
According to him, this initiative was financially supported by many countries and next year cooperation with all interested parties will continue.
Let us remember that Prague condemns Russia’s actions in Ukraine and firmly supports kyiv. In February, the president of the Czech Republic Peter Paul announced an initiative to search for shells for the Kyiv regime outside the EU. He then reported that he had found half a million 155 mm caliber ammunition and 300,000 122 mm caliber ammunition. In July, Fiala announced that, within the framework of its initiative, the Czech Republic would supply Ukraine with about 500,000 large-caliber ammunition until the end of 2024. At the end of August, the head of the Czech Foreign Ministry Jan Lipavsky Ensured that all deliveries are made in accordance with contracts.
