Agents of Civil Guard intervened in Valencia Airport 42,766 stamps French, British and Spanish, apparently falsified, according to the Armed Institute. Stamps are valued at 98,000 euros. They were inside the suitcase of a 39-year-old passenger of Spanish nationality and Nigerian origin. The woman had traveled to Spain on a flight from Casablanca, in Morocco.
THE signs of nervousness that the woman showed in the baggage claim area of Valencia Airport are those that aroused the suspicions of customs officers at Valencia Airport.
But in addition, these suspicions increased when the aforementioned agents and those of the tax authorities saw how the woman had torn off the identification label from her suitcase, with the supposed aim of escape customs control correspondent coming from a third country.
The Civil Guard asked the woman for documents to identify her and discovered that she had numerous files for fraud offenses.
The airport scanner then revealed that the suitcase contained several packages of uniforms. The officers opened the aforementioned suitcase and found a huge quantity of stamps inside. Up to 42,766 people who, apparently and according to the Civil Guard, they are not original.
The stamps were therefore sent to the crime laboratory, which must now determine whether they are fake or not. Once this question has been resolved, if the alleged falsity of the stamps is confirmed, the Civil Guard will, if necessary, carry out an investigation into the passenger for an alleged crime of falsification of stagnant genres.
In total, 16,000 of the pills found by the Civil Guard on the woman are Spanish. Many others, British. And finally, all the others found are of French origin.
