The government ignores the possible accusation of Ábalos in the “Koldo case”: “There will be no impunity”

The Government is trying to send a message of calm and firmness in light of the latest information on the Koldo affair. The President of the Government himself, Pedro Sánchez, spoke after his visit to the Vatican to meet Pope Francis. “There will be no impunity,” Sánchez responded to journalists about the latest information. From Luxembourg, Minister of Justice and the Presidency Félix Bolaños reiterated that the government had already done everything that needed to be done when the first information became known eight months ago. “We excluded him from the party, we asked him for the minutes and at that moment he was no longer part of the government. We acted with total force and we will continue to do so”, defended Bolaños towards the former minister. José Luis Ábalos and his possible accusation.

“We created a commission of inquiry in Congress to make everything known. At the Ministry of Transportation itself, an internal audit was also carried out to find out everything that happened and what we want is let there be an investigation and whoever has to pay, who pays,” he added.
