The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, spoke this Friday about the report carried out by the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard on the case of Koldo, which ended up designating members of the Executive and external collaborators as main players in an alleged corruption plot. This same report also shows that Sánchez not only knew that Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez was going to visit Spain, but that he had authorized this meeting in Barajas with the Minister of Transport at the time, José Luis Abalos.
Sánchez, who visited Pope Francis at the Vatican today, took advantage of the press conference after his audience to assure that “he knew that former minister Ábalos had informed me of Delcy’s visit to Spain” , but that “when the government realized that there were sanctions and this visit was canceled. “This is the participation of the Spanish government, any other practice will have to be responded to by those involved,” said the president.
