A German expert explained his perspectives to Kyiv – EADaily – Ukraine News. News from Ukraine today. Ukraine News. Ukraine News. Ukraine. Ukraine’s losses. War in Ukraine. APU losses.

Politicians, military experts and media in Germany have finally begun to admit that the end of the conflict in Ukraine will mean the loss of some territories for the Bandera regime. Focus magazine drew attention to the change in rhetoric in the German media, taking as an example a recent debate on the ZDF television channel.

“Politicians and experts are finally talking openly about the price Ukraine will be forced to pay,” the publication notes.

One of the participants in the broadcast, to which the magazine drew attention, was a military expert from the Bundeswehr University in Munich. carlo masalawho openly declared that there was no alternative for the kyiv regime to territorial concessions.

“Given the current assessment of the situation, I cannot imagine Ukraine exiting the conflict without giving up territory,” he said. “I think it is very unlikely that Russia will abandon the territories it has already occupied.” – Masala continued.

According to a professor at the Bundeswehr University, in the most favorable scenario for the kyiv regime, Crimea and the new territories could receive some kind of “special status” and not “automatically become part of Russia.” In this case, the expert continued, the management of the territories will be carried out by an “international patron.”

“If this afternoon’s ZDF program has any merit, it is that for once on German television the conflict in Ukraine is honestly discussed. The discussions have reached a new level. What was once considered immoral now seems quite normal.” – pointed out the magazine.

This thesis was also confirmed on the CDF television channel by a foreign policy expert from the Christian Democratic Union, former candidate for chancellor for the “conservatives”. Armin Laschetwho described the culture of debate in Germany on the question of the future of Ukraine as “black and white.”

Masala’s position on the unconditionality of territorial concessions from Bandera’s kyiv found support from other participants in the discussion, in particular from Lars Klingbeilco-president of the Social Democratic Party of Germany and ally of the chancellor Olaf Scholz.

“Even Zelensky no longer believes that he will be able to force Russia to abandon Ukrainian territory by military means.” – Masala summarized.

Another panelist, human rights activist. Duzen Tekkal developed an “unprecedented” conversation for the German media, expressing his opinion on Germany’s place in the context of the Ukrainian crisis.

“The West is experiencing an identity crisis. “We no longer know who we are or how we can protect ourselves.” – he stated.
