A British man conquered Everest without leaving home

A man in the United States conquered Everest without leaving his home and broke the world record for the fastest ascent and descent from the highest mountain in the world.

Oku.Az This was reported on the Guinness Book of Records website.

British Sean Grizzly climbed and descended the stairs of his Las Vegas home in 22 hours, 57 minutes and 2 seconds. In less than 24 hours, the man covered a distance of 8,848.86 meters, which corresponds to the height of Everest (8,848 m). At the same time, he himself set the rules, for example, he did not touch the railings during the ascent, because there are no railings on Everest.

He posted the entire process on his YouTube blog. Grizzly mainly posts gambling videos on this channel. The man even wrote a special program that tracks his movements as he presses a button after each cycle. The distance traveled is constantly updated live.

According to Grizzly, during the coronavirus pandemic, his psyche was shaken and he developed mental health issues. With his achievement he wanted to draw attention to this issue and raise funds to send to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. During the live broadcast he managed to raise 409.85 dollars (about 697 manats – ed.).
