In the city of Nefteyugansk, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, a two-story residential apartment building caught fire. Two people died as a result of a powerful fire.
This incident was reported on Saturday, October 12, by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on its Telegram channel. The fire was reported to have started on the second floor and spread to the roof.
25 firefighters and 8 special equipment units attended the scene of the fire. At that time, the fire area was 720 square meters. Once the fire was extinguished, rescuers found the bodies of a man and a woman.
Further casualties were avoided as 60 residents, including 10 children, were able to evacuate the burning building alone. A temporary accommodation center has been prepared for evacuees.
