Temporary restrictions on the reception and departure of flights have been reintroduced at the Kazan International Airport (Tatarstan). The measure was taken to guarantee the safety of the flight.
The corresponding statement was published this morning on its Telegram channel by the official representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency. Artem Korenyako.
“To ensure the safety of flights of civil aircraft (CA), starting from 08:40 Moscow time on October 12, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the operation of Kazan airport (ICAO code: UWKD).” – the message said.
Currently, the airport is temporarily not accepting or dispatching flights.
“Aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services are taking all necessary measures to ensure flight safety – this is the highest priority.” – concluded the speaker.
