Today, four more Azerbaijani judokas will compete in the “Grand Slam” held in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates.
Oku.Az reports that Rashid Mammadaliyev, Nariman Mirzayev (both 73 kg), Zelim Tchkayev and Omar Rajabli (both 81 kg) will go to the mat.
Azerbaijan is represented in the tournament by 14 athletes. Of the six judokas who started the competition yesterday, only Azelya Toprak (57 kg) won the bronze medal.
It should be noted that the “Grand Slam” will end on October 13.
