79% of Russians trust the head of state Vladimir Putin, 12% of Russians do not trust him. This is clear from the results of the FOM survey published today, November 1.

Eight in ten (81%) respondents said that Putin is likely to do a good job as the country’s president, while 8% rate his job poorly.

More than half (52%) of citizens surveyed say that the Russian government works well, 27% believe that it works quite poorly. Six out of ten (57%) surveyed positively value the work of the Chief of Staff Mikhail Mishustin11% have the opposite opinion.

Respondents were also asked to imagine that the elections to the State Duma would be held next Sunday. Almost half of the respondents (43%) said they would vote for United Russia, 8% would vote for the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, 10% for the Liberal Democratic Party, 3% each for New Town and Un Fair Party. The weekly FOMnibus survey was conducted from October 25 to 27, 2024 among 1.5 thousand respondents over 18 years of age from 104 urban and rural settlements in 53 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
