He was alone at home and had barricaded himself. Suffering from psychiatric problems, he also had in his possession a large knife. With autolytic tendencies, the family’s appeal for help went to the National Police of Valladolid.

Emergency services were already on the scene and provided first aid to the man. He suffered no injuries from the use of the immobilizer. He went alone to the ambulance to be transferred to the Río Hortega University Hospital.
