Highlighting that a symposium called “Islamic architectural heritage of Shusha” was held in Shusha today with the participation of architects representing more than 10 countries and international experts, the special representative noted that guests will enjoy the architectural heritage of Shusha, which is a wonderful example of Islamic architecture, in the direction of its conservation, they learned about the work that was being done.
It should be noted that with the support of ICESCO, the symposium “Islamic architectural heritage of the city of Shusha” began in the city of Shusha. The symposium is held within the framework of the event plan prepared in connection with the declaration of the city of Shusha as the “cultural capital of the Islamic world” by 2024. In addition to Azerbaijan, more than 80 architects from Turkey, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Kenya, Jordan, Italy, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Great Britain.
