The former president of the United States focused his rally on illegal immigration and its relationship with the crime. In fact, his campaign team reinforced its arguments with the setting: Donald Trump delivered his speech surrounded by photos of undocumented immigrants accused of crimes, as well as banners with phrases like “deport all illegals now.” In addition, the tycoon’s intervention in Aurora took place after committing to carrying out mass deportations in the suburbs of Denver and Springfield.
Faced with the situation that Aurora is currently experiencing – the activity and presence of mafias have considerably increased – the Republican candidate spoke directly to the residents of what he described as “war zone” in which he settled “chaos and fear” with the arrival of those who “cross the border” illegally.
The phenomenon also served as a weapon for Trump against his opponent in the elections, Kamala Harris. The former president is clear that the scenario he describes has someone directly responsible: the vice president of the administration of Joe Biden. He accused the Democratic candidate of having committed “crimes” for allowing the entry of migrants, which is why “he will not allow her to become president of the United States.”
