In this regard, the chairman of the Environment Committee of the Agriculture Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Sumeyya Rafii, criticized government officials for doing nothing.
According to him, despite the increasing level of air pollution, which has killed tens of thousands of people, the authorities are not taking any action on the matter.
Rafii noted that the increase in the number of deaths shows that the clean air law is not fully implemented in the country.
