It was observed that the problem area is located near the Jeyranbatan reservoir. Residents say sewage has blighted the road for months or even years. The situation has reached such a point that it is impossible to cross the street.
Another complainant pointed out that four years ago, when the Khirdala sewage system was renovated, the works were left unfinished. As a result, sewage overflows into Lake Jeyranbatan almost every day.
