Three people died and two others were seriously and very seriously injured, all men aged between 25 and 55, after a head-on collision on the A-6 motorway in Las Rozas.
The accident occurred this Sunday around 6:18 in the morning, at kilometer 20 of the aforementioned highway, in the incoming direction, in the municipality of Las Rozas, as reported to Europa Press by sources from the Emergency 112 Community of Madrid.
For reasons still under investigation, a car travelling in the opposite direction collided head-on with another vehicle that was travelling properly, also affecting a motorcycle.
As a result of the impact, both drivers of the passenger cars died, as well as the passenger of the vehicle that was driving properly.
Likewise, the co-driver of the car that was driving badly, who was transferred by Summa-112 with a very serious prognosis to a hospital, and the motorcyclist, evacuated in a serious condition to another hospital by Samur-Protection Civile, were injured.
They are all men between 25 and 55 years old, as a spokesperson for the 112 Community of Madrid Emergency Service told Europa Press.
Firefighters from the Community of Madrid went to the scene and recovered the bodies of the victims and the deceased inside the cars.
The SAMER of Las Rozas, the Local Police of Las Rozas, the Municipal Police of Madrid and the Civil Guard, which is investigating the accident, collaborated in the work.
