Investigators opened a criminal case after students of one of Kamchatka’s schools were hospitalized for poisoning, the press service of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region reported on Sunday.
“The case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements)”, – says the message.
It clarifies that at least 11 children who attended school in the city of Yelizovo were hospitalized with signs of acute intestinal infection. Several more students are being treated on an outpatient basis.
