The number of students of school number 1 in the city of Elizovo in Kamchatka who were hospitalized with an acute intestinal infection increased to 20. This was reported by the regional prosecutor’s office on October 13.

On October 12, the poisoning of schoolchildren in the city of Elizovo, Kamchatka, became known. A total of 13 students in first, seventh, eighth and ninth grade were affected and presented similar symptoms of acute intestinal infection. The children’s condition is considered stable. A criminal case was opened.
