New road accident in Granada. An accident between a bus and a truck on the A-92 left eleven injured with a mild prognosis, as indicated by the Emergency Coordination Center (Cecem 112).
The event occurred on 5:20 a.m. this Sunday, at kilometer 250 of the aforementioned road, near the Granada town of Víznar. Due to the accident, the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) activated the red level of the road, which was reopened to traffic at 9:00 a.m., although the right lane is still closed.
At the moment, we don’t know reason for the collision between the truck and the bus, which capsized after the accident. Health services evacuated the eleven people affected in several ambulances, including the drivers of the vehicles.
They moved to the place Civil Guard agents, road maintenance and the Health Emergency Center 061, belonging to the Andalusian Health Service, and the Primary Care Emergency Service (SUAP).
The injured were transferred to hospital trauma centers and the health technology park.
The accident caused the activation of the red level of the road towards Granada and allow an alternative detour via the GR-3102 leaving the municipality of Víznar.
