The PP announces a complaint against the PSOE for “illegal financing, corruption and influence peddling” and demands the resignation of Sánchez

The secretary general of the Popular Party, Cuca Gamarra, announced on Sunday that her party would file a complaint tomorrow against the PSOE for “illegal financing, corruption and influence peddling” before court number 5 of the National Tribunal, and requested the resignation of the president of the government, Pedro Sánchez. “We are going to file a complaint so that an unprecedented scandal is investigated to the end,” he assured.

The most popular denounce the various alleged corruption or influence peddling plots that have surrounded the Sánchez executive and his family for several months. “He is the real link between all the investigations opened for corruption, those which affect his government, those which affect his party and those which affect his closest environment,” declared the popular secretary.

“Spain deserves a clean government, a president who does not lie and honest politicians who serve the citizens and who are not in power to serve themselves. For all these reasons, the steering committee of the Popular Party meeting this morning asks Pedro Sánchez to resign,” he added.

Gamarra discussed the case of Judge Peinado against the wife of the President of the Government, Begoña Gómez, as well as the latest developments in the “Koldo” case, which bring the indictment of José Luis Ábalos closer. “There is no room for firewalls, because if you connect all the dots of all the corruption scandals that we know about, what literally stands out is the face of Pedro Sánchez. Their situation is unsustainable and would have brought down the entire government in any other democracy,” Gamarra added.

This Friday, the UCO pointed the finger for the first time at Ábalos, former minister of the PSOE, for having benefited from the mask sales program during the pandemic. The PSOE has defended itself in recent days, after UCO reports placed former minister Ábalos on the verge of accusation, saying that it had already acted “forcefully” with him. Sánchez himself declared this on Friday from Rome: “Absolute force in any allusion to a case of corruption that unfortunately could have occurred in my government and absolute collaboration with justice and state security forces.” And he added that his government is “clean, which has nothing to do with this lack of exemplarity and bordering on corruption”.

“We are talking about a widespread scandal due to his closest environment, the clan of the primaries that took him to the General Secretariat of the Socialist Party and from there they arrived at the Spanish government,” insisted Gamarra during the press conference. “We are talking about a scandal that affects his closest environment, his own family, the Begoña Gómez case and the David Sánchez case. We are talking about the fact that he himself has a pseudonym in this whole corruption plot,” listed the popular secretary, in reference to the causes that Justice is investigating. We are therefore faced with veritable highways of socialist corruption. »
