A fire caused by an electric scooter leaves 17 people affected by smoke inhalation in a building in Madrid’s Carabanchel district, although there are no serious injuries. However, three of those affected were transferred to hospital with a mild prognosis, as reported by Urgences Madrid.
The fire occurred this Sunday afternoon in a house on Iglesia Street, in Carabanchelwhere members of the firefighters, SAMUR and municipal police went.
The fire came from an electric scooter and completely affected the house from floor -1. Firefighters extinguished the flames and cooled the ground. Additionally, they checked the entire building and verified that there were no more affected houses.
The health services, for their part, took charge of a total of 17 people due to slight smoke inhalation and they have transferred three to hospitalwith a mild prognosis. The police, in turn, closed the street to traffic, as well as one lane of General Ricardos Street.
