“We believe that the ROK military is involved in incidents related to drone jamming. We warn once again that if the UAV appears again, we will consider it to come from the ROK, we will consider it a declaration of war on our republic and act at our own discretion,” the official said.
Earlier, the DPRK Foreign Ministry issued a statement that South Korea sent drones into Pyongyang’s airspace three times to distribute political leaflets in October. South Korea’s military said it did not send drones to the DPRK.
It was noted that the General Staff of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) ordered artillery units close to the border line to be fully ready to fire. On October 13, at 20:00 local time (15:00 Baku time), the DPRK army went into full combat readiness. Air defense observation points have been reinforced in Pyongyang.
