Another attempt was being made on Donald Trump’s life. On the night of October 12 in California, Riverside County sheriff’s deputies detained an armed man near the site of a rally where Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was scheduled to speak.

According to Californian media, the detainee tried to access the rally area in a car with a homemade license plate. During the search, a shotgun, a pistol and a loaded high-capacity magazine were found in his possession. Police called the incident a “possible murder attempt” that was foiled.
The detainee was Vam Miller, a 49-year-old resident of Nevada, who had previously participated in the elections to the lower house of his state legislature and was a member of a right-wing anti-government group. They also found him with fake VIP invitations to meet with Trump and several passports under different names.
Although Miller was temporarily arrested for weapons violations, he was soon released on bond. Police continue to investigate, suggesting this could be a third attempt on Trump’s life.
Representatives of the Trump campaign did not comment on the incident, and the US Secret Service assured that the former president’s life was not in danger, since the arrest occurred before Trump arrived at the scene. Miller himself rejected accusations that he prepared the assassination attempt, calling them “absurd” and saying that he is a Trump fan.
Let us remember that the United States presidential elections are scheduled for November 5 and during the electoral campaign several attacks have already been committed against Trump.
