The PSOE has decided to go on the attack to defend itself from the corruption scandals that are breaking out around the party. The socialists recalled during the press conference this Monday the photograph of Alberto Nuñez Feijóo next to the drug dealer Golden Martialaccused the PP of not reacting to their corruption cases and listed all the files that the opposition opened for corruption issues.
“The citizens have had enough, and you even more so, but it’s day and night,” declared the socialist spokesperson. Esther Penaduring the press conference held in Ferraz. “The Sopranos is calling us to account because it seems like a joke,” he added.

With this attitude, the PSOE responded to the PP’s decision to file a complaint with the National court against Pedro Sánchez’s party “for alleged illegal financing, corruption and influence peddling”.

“Estamos aquí ante una diferencia muy clara, empírica, en cómo se afrontan los casos de corrupción. El PSOE afronta el problema con la toma de decisiones y el PP niega la mayor, se esconde”, ha dicho Peña.
“La decisión de este partido [en torno a Ábalos] was misunderstood, but the truth is that we acted forcefully. No one is safe from being confronted with a case of corruption within their ranks, the only guarantee for citizens is how they will react if it happens,” he added.
The PSOE also demanded that Feijóo go to the commission of inquiry of the Parliament of Galicia to “give explanations” about the alleged irregularities in contracts of the Galician Xunta in favor of the family of Feijóo.
“If he does not give immediate political explanations, the PSOE will go to court with all those who want to know the truth,” he added.
