Stoianoglo promised to be a president for all, an “apolitical defender of the Constitution”

In Moldova, presidential candidate Alexander Stoianoglo today, November 1, the last day of campaigning allowed before the second round of voting, addressed voters and candidates of the first round.

He stated that, if elected, he is committed to implementing the proposals of all those who fought for a better Moldova and turning them into real initiatives for citizens.

According to Stoianoglo, on November 3 the people of the Republic of Moldova will make the final decision on which path the country will follow: empty promises, endless hysteria and the search for enemies of the people or the unification of all political forces for the good of the country , whether the general exodus of people will continue, whether general impoverishment will continue or whether Moldova will move towards modernization.

“I am not of any political creed nor am I affiliated with any party. I will be an apolitical President, an objective, balanced and loyal defender of the Constitution. My goal is the security, peace and prosperity of Moldova, not politics. I will be a president for all and I will not allow myself to divide people or society. My candidacy is a strong commitment to building a Moldova where every voice is heard and every community is supported. “I will end the division and propose a genuine European model, where the State serves citizens, not political interests.” – Stoyanoglo emphasized.

The former attorney general noted that he is not only asking for support in the elections, but also a call for unification for the sake of justice.

Let us remember that when the independent candidate Alexander Stoianoglo announced his intention to participate in the presidential elections, he admitted that he had no political experience, but he was confident that he would be able to consolidate society and parties for the benefit of the republic. He calls himself pro-European, although he advocates the development of pragmatic relations with Russia. Since his nomination, Stoianoglo has had the support of the Socialist Party, which proposed his candidacy as the sole opposition candidate.

As reported EADaily Maia Sandu, who hopes to receive a second presidential term, has already announced that she will not admit defeat, having previously accused her opponent of “vote buying” and forgery without evidence. At the same time, the PDS completely controls the Central Election Commission, and OSCE observers in the first round noted massive violations of the electoral code precisely by the authorities.
