In eastern Egypt, near the city of Ain Sokhna, at least 12 people were killed and 33 injured in a bus accident. This was reported on Monday, October 14, by the press service of the country’s Ministry of Health.

“12 people died and 33 more were injured after a bus traveling on the Zafarana-Suez route overturned in the Ain Sokhna area,” – the ministry said in a statement.

The department added that 28 ambulances were sent to the scene and that the situation is being monitored by the ministry’s deputy head, Mohammed al-Tayib. According to Reuters, students from Galala University were injured in the accident.
