Six minors arrested and two others identified for theft and damage in the municipalities of Valencia

A total of six minors ages between 14 and 17 years old have been detained by the Civil Guard and two others, aged 15, were identified for the alleged paternity of five thefts with violence or intimidation, four thefts with force and one crime of Shames in the municipalities of the province of Valence. The procedure relating to this case was transmitted by the Civil Guard to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.

Officers are now working to find the two aforementioned minors under the age of 15. A ninth minor, supposedly involved in the events, only 12 years, which makes it impossible for criminal liability to exist. All this, according to the Civil Guard itself.

Among those detained, some are from Spanish origin and other foreignersas confirmed by sources close to the matter. However, their specific nationalities have not been revealed as they are minors.

All of them are linked to thefts with violence and intimidation that occurred during the fiestas of different municipalities in the Huerta Sur region, Valencia. More precisely, in Sedavi, Alfafar and Catarroja. Municipalities very close to the city of Valencia.

According to sources from the Armed Institute, the young people located their victims at lonely places and early morning. And once they got their hands on them, they threatened them with theft. Thus, a bank card, obtained by the thieves during one of their misdeeds, was used several times.

On another occasion, the victim and his companions became attack by up to a dozen minors for resisting the handing over of a chain that hung from his neck and which was eventually removed during the aforementioned attack.

The investigations into this case were carried out by the Civil Guard in collaboration with the local police of Alfafar, Benetússer, Catarroja, Massanassa and Sedaví, all close to Valence.

Six of the minors involved, aged 14 to 17, were arrested in September. The other person allegedly involved was later identified. And also one of them who, as has been said, has no criminal responsibility since he only has 12 years. Finally, a ninth minor was also identified.

The Civil Guard also managed to recover several stolen objects and effects. Among them, one electric scootera laptop, a wireless speaker and two pairs of headphones that are also wireless. All of these items have already been returned to their rightful owners.
