A train bound for Huelva and stopping in Cordoba changes its route by mistake and takes the route to Malaga

Or the last one on which the Vox parliamentary group questioned Congress, a failure that occurred at the central station of Córdoba.

Concretely, according to the document, the train concerned was an Alvia leaving Madrid at 6:05 p.m. and arriving in Huelva, which stopped in Cordoba. This happened last April and the convoy in question left Córdoba Central without problems. It is at this stop that the bifurcation which divides traffic railways that go to Seville, Cádiz and Huelva, as well as Malaga and Granada.

However, the train took the wrong route and headed towards the capital of the Costa del Sol. According to Adif, “an error occurred in the marked route, which was quickly corrected without the need to record other incidents and without the control and security service functioning.”

The driver had to give reverse return to Córdoba station and correct the route. This resulted in a delay of more than 30 minutes upon arrival of passengers at their destination, the capital of Huelva.
