In the village of Teplichny in Saratov, two children were crushed by a concrete slab and one of them died on the spot, this was announced today, September 1, by the head of the regional security department of the government of the Saratov region, Yuri Yurin.
“The 112 service received a message that in the village of Teplichny, in the area of Novy Microdistrict Street, two children were crushed under a concrete slab. As a result of the incident, one child died and the second was injured.” — he wrote on his Telegram channel, referring to the head of the rescue service of the Saratov region. Nikita Zrada.
Rescuers who arrived at the scene, using a hydraulic tool, removed the victim and the body of the deceased from under the slab.
The press service of the Russian Investigative Committee for the region clarified that both children are boys. The victim was taken to hospital.
The circumstances of the incident are being clarified. The regional prosecutor’s office noted that the prosecutor of the Gagarinsky district Dina Bakhteeva took personal control of the progress and results of the inspection.
