A 92-year-old voter from Khirdalan exercised his right to vote in the by-election.
“Unikal” reports that Latif Jabbar Aliyev, born in 1932, voted at polling station No. 2 of the second electoral district of Absheron No. 49.
Although he was offered a portable ballot box to be brought to his home to vote, the 92-year-old voter declined the offer.
He said he wanted to go to the polling station and vote in person.
“I should have personally participated in the parliamentary elections held for the first time since the restoration of the integrity of the Motherland, for which our soldiers fought and shed blood. I feel that it is my duty,” said L. Aliyev.
