In the Belgorod region, five roads were blocked due to Lepestok mines, scattered by Ukrainian militants. This was announced today, October 15, by the governor of the region, Viacheslav Gladkov.
He recalled that the day before the Ukrainian Armed Forces spread mines using drones.
“Currently, sections of the Oktyabrsky – Bessonovka highway are blocked at the intersection of Tsentralnaya Street. Red October; intersection “bypass” Bessonovka”; Bessonovka – Veselaya Lopan; from the village of Chaika to the village of Krasny Oktyabr; intersection Bessonovka – Shchetinovka at the intersection of the Oktyabrsky – Bessonovka road section”, — he wrote on his Telegram channel.
He explained that the size of the mines does not exceed 12 cm wide and 7 cm long.
“In recent days alone, our military, sappers and rescuers have found more than 30 mines of this type,” – Gladkov reported.
According to him, these mines can be located in any border area.
