The emergence of artificial intelligencethe use of employability platforms and the need for training to fill new vacant positions generated by the audiovisual and video game sectors were the main subjects discussed this Tuesday during the conference “New challenges and tools for the hiring in the audiovisual and video games sector »organized by CEOE in Madrid with the aim of defining and analyzing the current situation of both sectors, revealing their main challenges and needs.
The day, opened by Antonio Garamendipresident of CEOE and Enrique Cerezopresident of EGEDA and president of the Culture and Sports Commission of CEOE, had the presentation by Carlos Cantó, CEO of SPSG Consulting, of the study “Needs of training in the audiovisual sector», carried out with the technical assistance of SPSG, GfK and Barlovento, in which the most relevant steps and challenges for the industry were highlighted from the point of view of training, hiring and employability.
In thisthe emergence of Artificial Intelligence and learning to manage it to create jobs has been raised as one of the main challenges facing audiovisual and video game professionals, being the main subject of concern of 82.7% of managers.
Furthermore, the boom in series and other television formats was highlighted by the managers interviewed as generating a very significant share of the future audiovisual employment, marking a historic difference in a market where the disparity between the professional profiles demanded by the market and the lack of training for them constitute another of the great challenges to be met.
