The Civil Guard has arrested a 19-year-old man in the town of Calpe in Alicante, accused of seriously injuring another 21-year-old man with a knife during an argument, the alleged perpetrator said. stabbed on the victim with a machete, causing a deep wound about ten centimeters long, for which he required several stitches. The victim is recovering favorably from the injuries sustained.
The events occurred in a recreational area of the urban area of Calpe in the early hours of August 6. When the agents and health services arrived, The person responsible had already fled from the scene, while the other young man was taken to hospital.
Investigators took the injured party’s statement and collected information from witnesses as well as all evidence found nearby. Officers discovered that the attacker approached the victim and, after a fight between them, stabbed him with a large machete. Specifically, it had a forty-centimeter blade.
For his part, the victim explained to the officers that before the events, he had had an evening with friends near the scene of the attack.
