This week, Arguedas added to his new sheriffa measure framed in municipal policies strengthening of security and public order that the Consistory launched this legislature.
The new sheriff will take on a wide range of duties, including service to citizenstraffic regulation, monitoring of compliance with municipal regulations and participation in the weekly market.
In addition, he will be in charge of check the condition of municipal facilities and buildingsmonitoring and control of infrastructure deficiencies and maintenance of roads and public spaces. He will also collaborate in the organization of cultural, sporting and festive activities promoted by the Town Hall.
The Municipal Council considers that the sheriff’s figure is the most appropriate to the reality of Arguedascompared to other alternatives such as the municipal police, due to its proximity and its capacity to act in different key areas for the municipality.
The mayor of Arguedas, Jose Luis Sanz, He highlighted the importance of this appointment and said that “security is one of the main issues we have been working on since the beginning of the legislature.”
In this sense, he explained that “we are sure that its incorporation will contribute significantly to the development of our daily activitiess, guaranteeing order and security in our facilities”.
With this new sheriff, the Arguédas Town Hall It aims to achieve greater efficiency in the maintenance of the city’s public spaces and to guarantee compliance with regulations, thus improving the quality of life of residents and visitors to the municipality.
