The National Police arrested four men aged 20 to 27, from Morocco and Algeria, in the city of Alicante, while committing a burglary in a house. They were all caught red-handed, thus preventing them from stealing any object.
The incident occurred at dawn when the neighbor of a neighboring property called the police after noticing that several young people were trying to enter a home in the area.
Members of the National Police went to the scene of the theft, triggering the specific system created for this type of situation. Officers who approached the scene were able to verify that two men were trying to enter the house through a window with a broken fence. When the suspects saw the police patrols, they began to flee.
Two of the youths were intercepted and detained by one of the task forces that had surrounded the scene of the robbery. The other two were located inside the property with the tools which they had used to commit the crime, being arrested after attacking the officers in an attempt to flee the scene.
The detainees, with criminal records for different events and in an irregular situation in Spain, were placed at the disposal of the Garda investigating court in Alicante, leaving the procedure open to investigate related crimes.
