At the end of last July, the two companies announced this intention in a press release “confidential” letter and “non-binding” which included the main terms of a network sharing agreement in Spain, which is expected to result in the creation of a fiber optic network company and for which MásOrange and Vodafone Spain are seeking a third investor.
A third investor
The plan is that PlusOrange control the 50% of the new society, which Vodafone Spain holds the 10% and that the third investor sought owns the remaining 40% fiberco.
In this way, BNP Paribas will be the entity that will lead the sale of this 40% of the future joint venturea percentage whose value is between 2,800 and 4,000 million euros, according to estimates used on the market.
