Sánchez publicly apologizes for the first time for the “Koldo case” involving his former minister Ábalos

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, apologized for the first time for the corrupt plot known as Koldo affair» which smears his former Minister of Transport and his former organizing secretary of the PSOE, José Luis Ábalos.

“Here, in a corruption case that I regret and that’s why I apologize to the citizenswe acted from the start. What they are doing is hiding corruption,” Sánchez told the PP deputies, who tried to corner the government by asserting that the Executive is “the most corrupt in the history of democracy.”

This is how Sánchez and Feijóo clashed again in Congress, this time over the “Koldo case”. The PP leader accused Sánchez of knowing everything and trying to cover it up. “He knew about Delcy and he lied, he knew about Ábalos and he accused him, he knew about his wife and covered it up, he knew about the airline bailout, which cost several million dollars, and he was involved in it for over three years and I covered it up,” he argued.

A frontal collision which began when Feijóo asked Sánchez “how many times, where and what did he and his wife talk about” with Víctor de Aldama, currently in prison. “We are equal before the lawbut not at all in cases of corruption”, replied the socialist leader, who wanted to distance his response to corruption from that of the “popular” when he governed.

we actedwe collaborated and what we do is govern,” the president reiterated, insisting: “All parties are not the same and we are not all the same. In the PSOE, whoever does it pays, and in theirs, when a case of corruption is reported, they are thrown into the street and those who cover up the corruption are praised, as with the married man and the corruption of Ayuso . yourself a little, because From the A of Ayuso to the Z of Zaplana, they have a case of corruption for each letter of the alphabet,” he emphasized.
