Alcaraz has no mercy against Rune and will face Nadal for a place in the final of the Six Kings Slam in Saudi

He did not give the option of surprise and will be in the semi-final of the Six Arab Kings Slam Saudi. Carlos Alcaraz he fought back for his role in Shanghai and ruthlessly defeated Holger Rune (6-4, 6-2) to advance to the next round and get a little closer to the biggest prize in tennis history.

There were doubts about how the Spaniard would cope in his clash against his career-long travel companion, but the incentive of being able to play for the final time against Rafa Nadal All you had to do was not lose concentration and resolve the vote quickly.

It was difficult for him to get over the Norwegian wall, but once he did, everything was much easier. A relaxed Alcaraz is much more dangerous and he demonstrated it with a tennis “clinic” that caused applause and respectable people to rise from their seats.

Infallible in service, Alcaraz took advantage of Rune’s few moments of weakness to hit the table. The 13th in the world could do nothing against a player who made virtually no mistakes. This Thursday there will be a Spanish duel on Saudi lands and one of them will fight for the title and 6 million dollars.

Unshakeable

Alcaraz and Rune clashed on the pitch in Saudi Arabia with the aim of playing the final match of their careers against Rafa Nadal. Two old acquaintances who have been alongside each other in the world of tennis since they were children and for whom there is now a certain difference in level between the two.

However, Alcaraz struggled to break down the Norwegian tennis player’s wall in the first set. Rune was very reliable on serve, scoring quick points and making it clear that he wasn’t going to make his rival’s job any easier. Of course, Alcaraz’s service was not too worrying either, allowing the Murcian to live calmly and on the lookout to take advantage of any mistake.

And that mistake ended up coming at the worst possible time for the Norwegian. With a score of 4-4, Rune made a few unforced errors which Alcaraz transformed into a very painful break. Carlitos didn’t falter after that as he sealed the first round to put himself on track for the semi-finals.

The breakage injured a Rune who was gradually losing his concentration and speed in his blows. Alcaraz smelled the blood and did everything he could to make everything clear before sentencing. He “steals” the Scandinavian’s serve at the first opportunity and faces the rest of the match with much more ease.

And we already know what happens when Alcaraz plays without pressure. The one from El Palmar began to offer his best game and left several points that lifted the cold supporters present in the stands from their seats.

The rest of the match was a breeze for Alcaraz. He completely blurred Rune throughout the second set and ended up resolving the clash quickly. Nadal awaits with a final against Djokovic either Fisherman background.
